It's been...a year to say the least! We've had so many ups and downs in 2021 so far, but this community has carried us on. We are so thankful for each and every one of you. Adda would not exist without the unwavering support of our partners, customers, friends and team.
This week, 8/23 - 8/27, we're donating 10% of shop sales to Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) in support of their effort to accept Afghan immigrants into the city of Pittsburgh. Visit JFCS's website for more information on how you can donate or volunteer time/resources to the effort to welcome our new neighbors.
There have been so many worthy causes and our only regret is not being able to support them all. But the fact is: you've helped us raised thousands of dollars this year and we have been able to funnel those resources into so many fantastic organizations & help so many neighbors. Here's the lowdown, in interest of transparency, of our charitable giving to date (8/23/2021):
GiveIndia Fundraiser for COVID Relief in India: $1,450 (Raised $5,405)
Trevor Project w/ Bakers for Change: $150
Drink Swap w/ Commonplace for Assemble: $150

FOKAL for Disaster Relief in Haiti: $600

People > profits. Despite these years of hardship on our business, we owe it to you to make sacrifices to improve our community and our world. We're grateful every day that you choose us — we choose you, too!
